It is the administrator of Getas plantation who runs The Kampong of Banaran Coffee. From 401 hectare of its total coffee plantation area, the development of the Kampoeng of Banaran Coffee occupies 10 hectare in its most accessible part.
A decent coffee shop is the tourism center of the complex. Here, visitors can enjoy various options of famous Banaran java, an international word to refer to coffee. Cold weather makes fine taste of local coffee even more perfect. Two kinds of famous local dish served hot, Bandungan tofu and Soto Bawen, will exaggerate your good mood.

Enjoying fresh Banaran coffee can also be done in solitude. There is a spot with a fantastic view somewhere on the plantation on the altitude of 600 m asl. The amazing landscape of Rawa Pening, Sumowono Hill, and the mountain range consisting Telemoyo, Merbabu, and Kelir are always be the best companion to enjoy finest Banaran coffee.
For those who loves to enjoy greeneries, plantation tour is available here. A 6 km dirt track along the coffee plantation is available for anybody who wants to enjoy the plantation on bike or motorbike. This tour mixes the enjoyment of nature and sports. Another option is tour along 3 km track on a rover visiting several coffee production posts on the plantation.
For children, The Kampong of Banaran Coffee provides facillities such as playground, swimming pool, and flying fox. The flying fox area is set up to the rear of the coffee shop and its rope spans very long several meters above ground.
A Fruit garden offering various native fruits are an excelent place to introduce children to rich Indonesian biodiversity . Among them are rare fruits such as dragon fruit, matoa (fruit originated from Papua), lychee, kopi anjing (also pronounced kapianjing or buah lima sembilan), sawoijo, srikaya, wuni, and duwet.
The Kampong of Banaran Coffe is equipped with homestays available to rent, each lies on favorable spot with beautiful plantation view. For larger group, a meeting room with the capacity of 800 guests is available nearby the coffeshop.
